This Week's Reflection

Philippines seems to be always struggling politically and economically. Statistics has posted an inclining or accelerating graph as it offers good news of economic growth.

But the side of politics is seemingly on season of divisions. The LP has not settled the Drilon and Atienza wing. And recently the Pangilinan chairmanship is taken out and Pangilinan is recurited to join the NP party.

But the biggest battle now is the coalition of Lakas, Kampi parties. The filing of on-leave of Rep Mikey Arroyo from Lakas was bossted yesterday when he singed with Kampi for the vote of no-confidence to the Speaker JDV. And it pulls other Lakas members to be divided between the Arroyo-backed Nograles camp and the JDV camp.

It is a Cain-and-Abel battle as usual. And we can analyze that the exposure by the son of JDV on the NBN issue linking the 1st gentleman to the scandal made the 2 sons of Arroyo to make their showndown this time ousting the old JDV as Speaker of the House.

The internal battle of Cain and Abel in the Philippine Providence has just happened last month or during the first month too of 2008. And it too was a floor showdown when it happened in Manila Hotel during a general meeting of the leaders in the national level with the CD. If there is a cry on the culture of attendance to the leaders by his subordinates, the foundation of faith of the Abel and checking of loyalty by the leader onto his members are major factors to see. Or else, a division if not a weakening of loyalty will come along the way between and among the organization.
